Mariam Atri - President & Founder
Mariam Atri was born and raised in Tehran, Iran and came to the United States with her husband, Said, to pursue their education. Mariam has a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Albany. After the Iranian Revolution, which happened over 25 years ago, Mariam and her husband decided to remain in the United States. They have since raised two children together in Syracuse for the past 24 years. Her husband is an Economics professor at SUNY Oswego. Mariam is currently working as a Financial Planner with MassMutual Financial Group and is also an Associate Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. She does fee-based financial planning in addition to helping people reach their financial goals in the areas of retirement, estate, education, insurance and investment planning.


Wendhel Elias - Vice-President & Co-founder
Wendhel Elias was born in Queens, NY but raised in Ocala, Florida. Wendhel moved to Syracuse after completing his Bachelors Degree at Cornell University in Government with a concentration in International Relations major and Business. He currently is a Personal Marketing Sales Agent for Liberty Mutual in which he offers a wide array of personal insurance from Auto, Home, and Life insurance. Outside of his work, Wendhel currently serves as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Onondaga County. Wendhel has served on the Positioning Board for the 40 below, is currently member of the Chamber of Commerce, and also plays in various sports leagues of Indoor Soccer and Volleyball in the Liverpool and Syracuse area.

Beatriz Burbank - Program Director
Beatriz (Bea) Burbank was born and raised in Lima, Peru, moved to Syracuse area 8 years ago, with over 7 years traveling around the world working for an airline and over 7 years experience in banking and helping first time home owners. Now she is Sales Associate Real Estate with Gallinger Realty USA. A member of the WBOC, Bea enjoys music, Peruvian and international cuisine and spending time with her husband and daughter.
